Prep before Check-in
We take pride in gaining a thorough understanding of all animal guests who are sent in to enjoy our services. Information furnished is all captured in our system so as to ensure that all services are personalised to attend to specific needs of different guests.
For hotel guests, information that would help us preempt changes in habits and behaviour greatly helps our hotel team make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
11am – Time to Check-in
During check-in, short chats with fur parents are important to our hotel team. The hotel specialist assigned to take care of the hotel guests during his or her stay would go through pertinent information one more time, especially important in the case of senior citizens or those who have specific dietary or medical requirements.
1115am – Give Me a Thorough Check
Before joining other hotel guests, a physical check for parasites and a subsequent deticking session will be performed to kill any parasites found (kill eggs if any) and it serves to protect the hotel guest from a possible infestation during his or her stay.
1115am – Take My Temperature & Weight Daily
In an environment away from home, especially so in an 24/7 air-conditioned one, our guests metabolise differently. Their emotional state and immune system has to be monitored and conditioned accordingly. As such, daily body temperature readings are taken while Bach Flower Essences and immune-boosting serum (of colocstrum origin) is administered.
1145am & 1500pm – It's Playtime!
Our hotel team puts lots of emphasis on a good mix of human companionship and canine socialisation. To assist hotel guests settle in soonest possible, interactive play (with scheduled games or toys) is conducted under close supervision.
1400pm – Let's Have a Siesta
Besides play time, nap time is also scheduled into our hotel guests' daily itinerary. Short respites on our comfortable beds ensure that our hotel guests do not tire themselves to the extent that planned activities further in a day cannot be enjoyed.
1700pm – It Feels Great to Walk to the Park
Daily short strolls are part and parcel of hotel guests' stay with us. Subject to weather conditions, all walks are on a 1-on-1 basis for at least 20 minutes, depending on the age, health status and activity level of individual guests.
1800pm – Yummy Chomp Chomp
All meals are prepared according to fur parents' instructions, inclusive of administration of oral medication or supplementation. Specific needs (BARF or home-cooked) are also catered for in our kitchen.
Some hotel guests may face some difficulty coping during a stay with us. Bach Flower Essences, digestive aid (prebiotics) or immune-boosting serum will also thus be administered according to the hotel team's observation of individual guests.
1900pm to 2000pm – Time to Snooze
Ultimately, the Petopia Team believes in the part human touch plays in a typical stay with us, which is a simple element that strives to create a 'home away from home' for many of our hotel guests.
